A PERSONAL START. A SHARED PURPOSE.

Because a little understanding
can mean so much.

Support Passport began with a parent’s wish: for their child to feel understood and supported, even when they could not be beside her.

The reason we started.

My daughter is autistic and is now home educated. Supporting her has taught me how much the small things matter: time to respond, a calmer space and someone who understands how she communicates.

As her parent, I know what helps. But I cannot always be there to explain it. That gap inspired Support Passport — a simple introduction that a person can carry with them, shaped around what they want others to know.

What began with my family’s experience has become an ambition to help more children and adults feel understood, included and supported in everyday life.

A person’s voice.
A useful place to start.

A helper would tap an NFC tag or scan a QR code to read chosen information about communication preferences and practical support. Planned private contact features would help them request support from a trusted carer.

The passport is a starting point for understanding. The person’s choices and the conversation with them come first.

OUR SOCIAL PURPOSE

Useful support.
Within more people’s reach.

Accessible by design

A proposed free core passport and ordinary browser access, so reading someone’s introduction does not require a specialist app.

A sustainable service

Paid connection features and organisation partnerships are intended to support the free offer and ongoing development.

Built with people

Our next step is to learn with families, adults with support needs and organisations through carefully scoped feedback and pilots.

We are at the prototype stage. The interactive demo uses fictional people; live alerts and calls are not connected. We have not yet measured outcomes or run a live service.
